I like "the thing itself" image. It's not everyday that we can stare directly at the sun and expericence no vision damage. Its a very unique and interesting photo.
Your night photography with Tripod is cool. I like that you can see the clouds moving fast and they seem far away. But then you are able to see the tree so close on the left.
I think your second photo is awesome. I love that the viewer is looking through the plant! It gives it a very unique effect. :)
