There aren't many photographs that immediately come to mind when I think about it besides the one my mother took a few years back. It was on a simple digital camera when 3 megapixels was the extreme. It was a landscape view of a cemetery on a foggy day. The headstones faded into the abyss and merged together to create a somber, yet relaxed and peaceful feeling. Some of the larger headstones were in full view but for the most part there was little detail. The photo not only sticks out in my mind because it was interesting, but also because it was taken on such a simple camera by someone I know.
Excellent! It is true that some of the most powerful photographs are captured on the simpliest of cameras.
